Elevation Worship - Wake Up the Wonder 2014 Band Members
Biography ::

So that people far from God will be raised to life in Christ. That was the vision of Elevation Church when it began in 2006 with a group of eight families led by Pastor Steven Furtick. Over the past seven years, that vision has remained the same as our church has grown to seven locations in the Charlotte, NC area, with multiple extension sites around the U.S. and Canada.
From the beginning, Pastor Steven had a vision for Elevation Worship to write and record songs that reflect the church’s journey, experiences, and needs. The fifth album from Elevation Worship, Nothing Is Wasted, features all original songs including the title track, “Greater,” “In Your Presence,” “Be Lifted High,” and “Open Up Our Eyes.”

The songs from Nothing Is Wasted were birthed out of Greater, the most recent book written by Pastor Steven. Greater is based on the life of Elisha, one of the greatest prophets in all of Scripture. Elisha’s story, and the message of the book, is a call to follow Jesus as we lay our lives down to make Him greater. And that is the theme of this album, as each chapter of the book has a corresponding song inspired by that chapter. While this project stands alone as a worship album, there is an even deeper experience readers of the book will have while listening to these 12 songs.

Nothing Is Wasted is also a double album with two iterations of the same songs – The Experience, which was recorded at a night of worship with the people of our church, and The Sessions, a studio version of the same songs where we took the arrangements to a different place creatively.

“We have seen God do the impossible in our church time and time again, and we consider it such an honor to give voice through these songs to the great things He has done,” says Worship Pastor Wade Joye. “Our prayer is that all who hear this project will be inspired to believe that the Lord can do the same in their own lives and churches.”
Elevation Worship's previous 4 albums include the songs "Give Me Faith," "All Things New," "Exalted One," "For The Honor," and "The Church." All albums available at

Kim Walker-Smith [Jesus Culture] - When Christmas Comes (2014) Biography and History
History ::
Jesus Culture is a global movement, awakening hearts to worship and demonstrate the love and power of God wherever we go. We are passionate to see campuses, cities and nations transformed and we have a mandate: to raise, equip, and mobilize those who were coming to fulfill the call of God on their lives. We do this through the ministry of conferences, events, worship, campus ministries, curriculums, resources and now a local church. Jesus Culture is continuing to grow in bringing young people into encounters with Jesus and equipping them to minister His heart to a broken world…but it wasn’t always this way. Here’s a brief look into the beginnings of our ministry.

Jesus Culture Music ::
Jesus Culture Music exists to ignite revival in the nations of the earth. Our heart is to compel the Body of Christ to radically abandon itself to a lifestyle of worship, motivated by a passion to see God receive the glory that is due His name. We long for Jesus to be exalted in the nations and for His manifest presence to invade this world. Although we aspire for people to sing great worship songs, we are primarily committed to see them come into His presence through worship… to encounter His extravagant love and raw power.

Seventh Day Slumber - We are the Broken 2014 Biography and History
Biography ::
From its indie beginnings at the tip of the 2000s to debuting on BEC Recordings in 2005, Seventh Day Slumber has continuously raised the bar of alternative rock excellence coupled with an unabashed gospel message. It’s a tightly wound dynamic that’s not only seen the band’s last two albums land on the Billboard Heatseekers charts (at #10 and #6 respectively), plus a string of Top 10 singles (including the smashes “Caroline” and “Oceans From the Rain”), but it’s also quite literally saved lives. As the group prepares to release the worshipful Take Everything, the story of front man Joseph Rojas’ delivery from depression and a $400 per day cocaine addiction has already been well circulated. But many might not be aware of the fact that his previously estranged father came to Christ as a result of a recent Seventh Day Slumber concert.

“My father called me out of no where after he’d been following the band online and asked if I would be interested in meeting him and I said ‘absolutely!’” recalls Rojas, even withstanding early memories of abuse and subsequent divorce. “He told me his brother had died and his three nephews were weeping at the casket, which made my dad pose the question ‘would my kids cry for me if I died?’”

Following the conversation, the front man flew his father to Nashville, reconnecting for the first time on a significant scale since childhood. From there, the senior Rojas took a road trip with the band during the summer festival run, including a faithful day at the Alive extravaganza where Joseph gave an altar call.

“It had started to rain, but I still saw about three hundred kids come forward to accept Christ,” he remembers. “In the crowd of people running to the altar, I saw my father coming forward and he wound up giving his life to Christ at one of our concerts! Now my father and I actually have a relationship, and while we don’t get to talk as much as we should simply because I’m on the road so much, it’s a pretty awesome addition to the story.”

More than being merely an anecdote, the experience was one of the many catalysts behind Take Everything, which finds the group specifically centering its content around a praise motif, but in a remarkably unexpected way. Instead of merely copying the current cuts on Christian radio and cranking out a few cliché-drenched copy cats, the project puts a fresh coat of paint on familiar favorites, enriched by three original cuts that find Rojas and company at their most spiritually vulnerable and intimate.

“We wanted to make these songs more appealing to some of the youth and teenagers out there,” he says of staples like “How Great Is Our God,” “I Can Only Imagine,” “Famous One” and “Nothing But the Blood.” “They’re all really amazing songs and are obviously known by millions of people, but we wanted to record them in way that wasn’t wrapped around the traditional arrangements. We wanted people who wouldn’t normally listen to worship music to hear it in a way that’s relevant to them.” Considering BEC falls under the Tooth & Nail/Solid State umbrella, inspiration from label mates like Underoath, Demon Hunter and Anberlin wasn’t all that far behind, not to mention Seventh Day Slumber’s pre-existing alternative centering. Basically the guys kept their iPods on shuffle, allowing the intermingling of these worship cuts to channel themselves through osmosis into rough necked rockers.

“We wanted to come up with something really interesting, taking the same lyrics and basically the same melodies, but putting a completely different spin on them,” he echoes. “So there we were going through our iPods listening to a heavy riff from Underoath one minute and “How Great Is Our God” in a standard worship format the next and subconsciously started taking those traditional worship songs and making them heavier.”

As noted, in addition to nine covers, the collection boasts three stirring originals, starting with the title track. At first, Rojas admits thinking “okay, I gottta write three songs for this worship album and I want to give the label something they’ll be excited to hear,” though that mindset quickly shifted to a much more spiritual centering.

“I opened the book of Psalms and starting copying what David had written down, but I began to feel convicted as I heard God asking ‘is that all you’ve got for me?’” he ponders. “I also felt Him asking ‘why were you writing a song to your label instead of a song to me?’ and my heart began to sink. So I grabbed my guitar, began to pray and told God He deserved more from me, and at that point, I just literally told him to take absolutely every part of me. It’s one thing to live some mediocre Christian lifestyle, but I want God to have every piece of me and that’s exactly what this record is about.”

“Carry Me” is another attention-commanding new cut that is once again steeped in surrender, specifically geared towards people hurting from the aftermath of divorce and growing up without one of their parents. A stripped down version of the previous hit “Ocean From the Rain” brings Seventh Day Slumber’s journey of praise full circle, reminding listeners that no matter how severe the storm in their life, healing and hope are always attainable resolutions.

As Rojas and his band mates sit back justifiably proud of the project, there’s also one untapped angle that has the leader particularly pumped. Now that the singer’s a family man himself, he notices the songs on Take Everything resonating with his three young sons in an extremely meaningful manner.

“They’ve sang daddy’s songs before, but these songs aren’t just about my hurts, pains and addictions,” he adds. “They’re singing to God Himself, which is something I didn’t really have growing up but wished I did. These songs let them know that there’s more to life than toys and they also let me know there’s more than my own situations and problems. He’s the ultimate source of our souls finding hope and rest, which after seeing it happen firsthand with my own life and now my father’s faith walk makes me even more excited to sing these songs than ever before.”

Jessa Anderson - Whole 2014 Biography and History

Biography ::
Hello! I’m Jessa Anderson, a singer/songwriter residing in Nashville, TN with my husband (and resident booking agent/manager/musician extraordinaire) Jordan and our two beautiful, crazy kiddos Lorelei and Jagger. Thanks for stopping by! Maybe you’re here often, and you’ve followed this musical journey of mine from the beginning. Perhaps you’re here after hearing about the music from a friend, or catching a song somewhere. It’s possible you aren’t even sure how you got here, but whoever you are, I’m so glad you made it! It might seem odd that I’m writing this myself, but after a few rounds of bios written by other people (or in the third person, ahem), I’m doing my best to approach this online space in the same way I approach my music―as honestly and openly as possible.

There are many things I am passionate about, and many I enjoy, but I believe there are very few things in life that really, truly matter. First, Jesus Christ. After that, people. From there it all starts to blur into the category of “you can’t take it with you”, so I’m doing my best to invest the majority of my time and effort toward the first two. As for music, and why it matters, I view it as a thread that runs far and wide, bringing people to God and to one another. I have a hard time labeling music in and of itself as “Christian”, but I am proud to be a Christ-follower making music encompassing both the human and the holy.

I was recently asked how things have changed for me with the writing and releasing of Whole, my third full length project. My best answer is this: Whole is the project I’ve always wanted to make. Through this 6-year journey of writing, creating, releasing, and touring, I have pushed myself to be real—to be me. The songs on this record feel so very me, and so very true to life. They are one woman’s perspective to be sure, but sharing that perspective is half the battle. Freely giving of our hearts and minds is what draws us near, what allows us to identify with one another.

I could write volumes about this record and each of it’s individual songs, but in the interest of time, I will just say that life is not easily wrapped up in a beautiful package, or a 3 1/2 minute radio single. Whole encompasses both the shiny, happy moments, and the gory, gut-wrenching ones. My gladness in the gospel of Jesus is expressed through songs like “Everything", "Never the Same", and "Story of Grace". Issues like divorce, dysfunction, and dissatisfaction are woven through “Breakdown", “Stay", and “Idols”. There’s even a love song, “Caught Me By Surprise”, thrown into the mix, co-written with my talented husband (a rare feat for the two of us)! Each of these songs means the world to me, and my hope is that you’ll soon say the same.

Whole released April 8th, 2014. Get your copy HERE.

If you came to this "about section" hoping to learn a little about me, here are a few fun facts:

1. Jordan and I got married on August 14th, 2005. We were 19 and 20, and everyone thought we were siblings. Sometimes we still get asked if we are brother and sister (???).
2. I love coffee. I drink a lot of coffee. I have been a barista twice (once in High School, and during my first years of marriage).
3. My babies are Lorelei (born in August 2010) and Jagger (born in March 2013). They are awesome. Yes, I love Gilmore Girls. We found Jag's name on the internet.
4. I focus heavily on lyrics when I'm songwriting, usually filling in chords as I go along to supplement whatever melody I'm hearing in my head. I play keys, but I'm not a "keys player". I am terrible at music theory.
5. Travel is one of my favorite things about this "job". Jordan and I have been to Quito, Ecuador five times with Extreme Response (we'll make it six in December 2014!). My favorite place music has taken us is Lisbon, Portugal.
6. I hate olives. I HATE olives.
7. I am mostly free spirited and laid back. My natural response is to just "go with the flow", which is pretty much the polar opposite of my dear husband. We have frequent discussions on what actually constitutes being on time vs. late.
8. Once (before we had kids) we had a dog named Lola. She was super adorable, and incidentally, turned out to be the devil. I cried when we gave her away, but I'm pretty sure she made me never want another pet.
9. I grew up in southeastern Michigan. Jordan grew up in Iowa. Our babies were both born in Nashville. We have considered Nashville home for many years, but never quite felt "settled" until we found our church in 2011.
10. We used Kickstarter to fund Whole, and it was a fantastic experience. I’ll forever be grateful for such a generous outpouring of support!

Sons of Life - We Will Fly (2014) Biography and History
History ::
They are the sons of a Powerful Prophet in Southern Africa. Prophet Kobus (Senior Pastor and founder of Spirit Word Ministries) has been in ministry for over 30 years and has seen thousands of miracles all over the world and . Since the boys were young,  the prophet prophesied over the three and encouraged them to pursue their passions and dreams. They were taken to music classes from a young age, and even then it was evident that there was a higher calling on their lives in the area of music. Since then they formed the greater part of the Spirit Word Worship. They have already performed live in front of thousands and they love to share and preach the love of God to many nations.

They met up with Jerry Niswander (current manager of Sons of Life and former manager of Jesus Culture) early in 2013 when Jerry was travelling throughout South Africa with his friend, Darren Wilson (producer of Finger of God & Father of Lights). They came to Spirit Word to show the productions of Wilson, and in the process Niswander heard the trio and felt that he could listen to the Worship the whole night. One thing lead to another and he asked the brothers if they wanted to record an album with Rylan Records (Niswander's production company). The brothers then flew to the USA for the annual Bethel Conference in Redding, California, where they met up with Jeremy Edwardson (producer of Jesus Culture) to talk about the album being recorded with Niswander. During September 2013 Jerry and Jake Hamilton (musician) came to Spirit Word to discuss the live recording of the album and the details pertaining to it. Jake and the boys enjoyed playing together so much that they all decided that Jake had to form part of the recording.

The brothers are all married and two of them already have kids. Kobus to Tracy, Johan to Leandre' and Petrus to Monique. They are through and through family men and know the value of placing God first in their lives and homes. The future excites them, knowing that today is only the beginning of what's about to happen tomorrow. Life has been made to live, and that is what they do everyday, to the fullest.

Sojourn Worship - We Belong to You (2014) biography and history

History ::
Sojourn Music consists of a group of musicians with backgrounds in jazz, country, and pop who came together with musicians from indie and punk rock backgrounds, seeking to serve the Church with a sense of unity and beauty. Sojourn creates new songs for modern missionary worship, rich in Christian teaching and contextualized in modern culture. Contemporary hymns, psalms, and songs of lament and praise are written by members of the Louisville, KY-based Sojourn Community.

Sojourn Community Church began with a series of conversations about church, community, and beauty. There was a resounding hunger for a different kind of church - something that was ancient and modern, beautiful and true. Those conversations gave birth to a church in Louisville, Kentucky’s urban core, a church that celebrated the creative beauty of our God and the creative glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through whom we’re redeemed and restored into His family. Sojourn is now a church with three campuses in Louisville and one in southern Indiana, with 2500+ people gathering on Sundays for worship. In 2006, Sojourn launched the 930 Arts Center, a gallery, music venue, and studio space in the Germantown neighborhood which then served as Sojourn's midtown campus. ( Renovations of the former St. Vincent de Paul Church, a 120-year old Gothic Revival cathedral in Smoketown with seating for 900 people, were completed in 2012 and the midtown location of Sojourn moved there. Over the years, Sojourn Music has recorded multiple records of original music, and has led worship at national conferences for Advance The Church, The Resurgence, Acts 29, The Gospel Coalition, and Campus Crusade for Christ.

Hillsong Young & Free - We Are Young & Free 2013 Biography and History
History ::
Tha album was announced in an official page of the band by a series of photos. On March 22, during the Colour Conference, the release date was set to be October 2013. On April 10th, the band started the publicity for the album recording night, by posting pictures about the event on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

Hillsong Church's popularity in Christian praise and worship music stems from the inauguration of the Hillsong Conference in the late 1980s and the first publication of choruses written by Hills CLC members, especially Darlene Zschech. Their first live worship CD The Power of Your Love was released in 1992. Since then, live praise and worship albums have been produced each year. Other music series include the Worship series, United, Youth Alive, Hillsong Kids and Instrumental series. They have also released two Christmas albums and several compilation albums.

Geoff Bullock's departure ::
Geoff Bullock, the worship pastor before Zschech, resigned from Hillsong partly because of their phenomenal success. He states:

People have said that Hillsong (conference) 95 was my highest moment - the heights from which I fell. Yet if someone asked me what was the worst experience of my whole ministry career it would be Hillsong (conference) 95, because I felt so out of my depth.

I kept thinking, 'I don't know what I'm doing here, I'm unable to be the person that I need to be'. I just can't be Mr Charisma and Mr Excited. That's not me. I'm a quiet, introspective, melancholic type of guy. I struggled throughout the week trying to lead the worship, but feeling very much that I was failing. I really fell apart emotionally within a month of the conference ending.
My face was on all the posters, I was writing songs which everyone was singing, but inside I was asking myself 'Why am I always struggling? Why can't I just rise up in faith and be the man of God that everybody else says I should be, that this movement says I should be?
—Geoff Bullock,

Geoff Bullock has released a recent album with new songs and a few of his old songs re-written. He spoke with David Adams and Lloyd Harkness at Sight Magazine in an interview on the 13th of August, 2004 "I feel tremendously responsible that I led them [Hillsong Church] along the garden path of being so incredibly enthusiastic and incredibly faithful that eventually I sentenced them to disappointment because I was trying to fulfill something that I could never achieve..."

Popularity ::
Hillsong music is accepted and sung in many Christian churches worldwide. Some Hillsong songs have distinct gospel influences (see Gospel music and Urban contemporary gospel) and this has probably contributed to its acceptance. Hillsong Music titles regularly feature in the top 25 of most songs sung in all reporting countries recorded through CCLI.

People Just Like Us was the first ever Christian album to go Gold in Australia as well as the first to go Platinum. To date, all Hillsong live worship albums have achieved Gold status in Australia. In 1996, Hillsong Music reached international prominence with the release of Shout to the Lord produced by Integrity Music. This was Integrity Music's first live worship album featuring a female worship leader - Darlene Zschech.

The 2004 Hillsong live worship album For All You've Done, debuted at #1 on the Australian Record Industry Association album charts. This is the first time an album of Contemporary Christian music has topped the album charts in Australia. There was some controversy about this outcome as almost all of the albums were sold at Hillsong's annual conference held in early July. The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) have defended the outcome noting that the album sold more copies than any other record on sale in Australia that week.

Awards ::

Worship leaders ::
Former worship pastor Darlene Zschech (1995-2007) is perhaps the most well-known worship leader in Hillsong. She is the composer of the famous worship song "Shout to the Lord". Zschech became worship pastor after Geoff Bullock resigned. Bullock had composed most of Hillsong's early songs in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Russell Fragar, former music director, played a large part in producing early Hillsong albums until leaving Hillsong Church for Virginia, USA in 2001. Other prominent worship leaders include Reuben Morgan, who rose to fame for his song I Give You My Heart and Marty Sampson who was integral in the success of early Hillsong United albums. Recently Joel Houston, son of Brian and Bobbie Houston, has become one of the Hillsong worship leaders and song writers and has also initiated Hillsong's I-Heart Revolution.

Currently the worship pastor of Hillsong is Reuben Morgan and Joel Houston serves as Creative Director, while Darlene Zschech is a Senior Worship Leader at Hillsong Church and tours throughout the globe with the Hillsong team, whilst still hosting the Creative Stream at Hillsong Conference. The Hillsong UNITED team also tours the globe reaching others with the music that comes from the very heart of Hillsong Church.

Darlene Zschech explained Hillsong's stance in her book Extravagant Worship. She wrote the Hillsong team prayer "Father, let them quickly get their eyes off of us. We just want to point them to you, God, because you are the Author of truth. You are the only One who is to be praised."

Albums ::
Early albums were released solely on cassette and CD. Video recordings of the live albums have also been made for VHS since the second album in 1993, and additionally for DVD since 2000, with increasing additional content such as documentaries and extra songs. Dara Maclean - Wanted (2013) biography and history
History ::
Few artists combine musical depth and the uplifting realities of a life in Christ as well as Dara Maclean. Hers is a joyful mix of pop idioms and eternal truths, danceable beats and the good news.

"I love making music you can move and groove to," she says, "but at the same time, as Christian artists we have a responsibility to speak the truth of the finished work of Christ in love."

A singer of incredible grace, power and control as well as a gifted songwriter, Dara has put together with Dove Award-winning producer Ian Eskelin a debut CD, You Got My Attention, as fresh and vibrant as any in recent years. Just 25, she has forged a sound rooted in the ’70s Motown, funk and soul her parents loved and filtered through a thoroughly contemporary urban pop lens.

Its first single, “Suitcases,” is a beat-driven track with an alternately intimate and soaring vocal celebrating true release from "your burdens, heavy like gravity."

"I want to paint a picture of God's complete restorative love and how through Christ we can experience true freedom," she says. "My parents and I minister together as a family and during one service my dad said, ‘You can’t run when you’re holding suitcases.’ I’ll never forget it. This song is my encouragement to us all to let go of the baggage of the past.”

“Suitcases” provides a first glimpse into an album that displays a range of influences and a lyrical and melodic flair rare in a young artist. You Got My Attention ranges from the soft intimacy of “Had To Be You” to the soaring finale of “Unreachable,” from the classic ‘70s feel of “So Good To Me” to the symphonic resonance of the album’s closer, “Home.”

“There are tracks like ‘You Got My Attention’ and ‘Nothin’ You Won’t Do’ that express my love of Motown and funk,” says Dara, and there is “What Love Looks Like,” a warm and lovely excursion into the heart of love, with acoustic instrumentation and scintillating harmonies. Harmonies soar again in “Free,” which celebrates the strength and liberation possible in God’s love, while “Yours Forever” showcases the sheer vocal expressiveness Dara possesses.

She has found the perfect studio partner in producer Eskelin. “Ian knows the filter everything needs to go through,” she says. “It has to be soulful and reflect my love for R&B but still be contemporary. It’s about taking the listener on an interesting journey without wandering too far off the road.”

Within those parameters, Dara has found just the right setting for her vision.

“My message, my purpose,” she says, “is to express the heart of God for His kids. Then, I want the record to reflect what I want the live show experience to be like. We’ll dance, we’ll groove, we’ll have fun.

Though her message is undiluted, her touch is light and the music celebratory—and universal.

“I wanted the accessibility that great Motown music had,” she says. “That and the great 70s soul and R&B music transcended barriers. It was never about one group or one audience. It just spoke to people.”

The lessons of a lifetime spent combining music and ministry has enabled Dara to do craft a highly individual style as compellingly as anyone on the present scene.

Dara grew up outside Fort Worth, Texas, in a family that encouraged her love for music and for the Lord from her earliest days. She was just 13 when she began leading worship and singing in church. She credits The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with "helping me discover who I wanted to be as an artist. I remember talking to my mom and dad about how she was quoting scripture in her lyrics in such a unique way. I just loved it. Not long after that, I started playing guitar and diving into writing for myself."

Influenced as well by contemporaries like Adele, Natasha Bedingfield, Ray LaMontagne, John Legend and Marc Broussard, she has honed a sound that captures the joy and exuberance of being swept up in God's love. It is an approach she comes by honestly.

"I grew up singing, dancing and acting, and it's been in the church world," she says. "Music has always equaled ministry to me. Ministering to the broken, unloved and discouraged and ultimately showing people God's better way is what's in my heart. It's how I'm wired.”

While her technical skill shines through, it is her individuality that shines through.“I did take voice lessons,” she says, “but I did not go to school for music. Part of the story is not being polished and perfectly educated. My records represent my personal journey through music.”

In school, Dara was part of a singing group that traveled widely, performing everywhere from churches to conferences to the Superdome. When she graduated at 18, she “dove into music and ministry. It’s what I felt like I was supposed to do.” Discovered by label/publishing executive Susan Riley, she earned a publishing deal before landing her recording contract. Throughout, she has never compromised the message she expresses in music.

“As an artist and a Christian my responsibility is not to give half the pie. When we represent something, it’s the whole, complete message of redemption.” The sheer exuberance of her music assures her effectiveness in carrying that message. “I’m hearing from people that it’s a brand new sound, that it’s refreshing,” she says. “It makes me feel in my heart like I’m hitting the mark. I feel like we have the right people involved, like it’s the right mix and that we’re headed in the right direction.”

Building 429 - We Wont be Shaken 2013 Biography and History
Biography ::

Building 429 is a Christian rock band signed to INO Records. They were the Gospel Music Association 2005 New Artist of the Year. Their name is derived from a Biblical passage known as Ephesians 4:29, which, in the New International Version of the Bible, reads as follows: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." The band members originated from Snyder Memorial Baptist Church and various areas in North Carolina as well as Texas.

Early years

In late 1999, bassist Scotty Beshears and guitarist/vocalist Jason Roy met in North Carolina at the final performance of Roy's band All Too Familiar. Beshears had formerly been involved with Elijah's Ride, another independent band. They teamed up with drummer Christian Fuhrer to form a new band which blended modern pop-rock music with Christian-themed lyrics. The trio began to perform under the name "Building 429."

According to Jason Roy, the band's name originated from a youth group. Roy's wife Cortni had once belonged to a youth group that had a system called the "429 Challenge, based on Ephesians 4:29. Whenever someone in the group spoke negatively about another, others were allowed to issue a verbal "four twenty-nine." This resulted in the offender having to say something nice to the person that was offended. The band members took this challenge and created a name around it - building one another up, hence, "Building 429."
